Memorial Mile • Lexi Bergstrom
“Lexi was a vibrant soul who had a heart of gold and would give her shirt away just so that you would have a shirt to wear. She was not judgmental. She loved everybody and she would light up the room once she walked in.”

I met Lexi in Middle School. I was bullied throughout Middle School and part of high school. Lexi came over and defended me and told people to leave me alone that I am beautiful. Just the way I am. From there we became instant friends up until graduation.

After we had graduated, she met who she called a handsome man named Ben Bergstrom. They later married and had three beautiful kids. Lexi was a great mother, a fantastic wife and also a loving friend.

What I didn’t know was she was fighting her mental health but she hid it so well. On the morning of February 1st 2025 I randomly get on Facebook and see Lexi Bergstrom obituary. Thought she’d just passed from natural causes. I messaged her cousin and her cousin said she passed away from suicide. That broke me. I thought I thought she was fine but to my this dismay she was fighting with mental health. Rest in peace, Lexi. Forever 27

We are honored to walk in memory of Lexi Bergstrom.
